- The good these shifters present as new of good quaility. The bad is the cables appear to have been installed before as both cables have small kinks in them. I will attempt to install but I suspect I will have to change out the cable for the right shifter. As I have ordered cables in bulk its not a big problem. I ordered these from Amazon warehouse saving a couple of dollars I thought. I would spend the couple of additional dollars to ensure you get the pristine cables. In defense of the warehouse when they sold me bike chains(package had been opened) they made a point to throw in additional masterlinks to ensure I had everything needed to install never used bike chains at a great price. These are several dollars cheaper than Shimano but appear to be of similiar quality. I will update this review after I use them a few weeks if actual experience proves otherwise
