Star Trek - Next Generation Season 6: Riker
Star Trek - Next Generation Season 6: Riker

Lt.  THOMAS (TOM)  RIKER

Art Asylum turn their attention to one of the most popular of all the Star Trek series: The Next Generation in 2006, the 40th anniversary year of one of the longest running science fiction shows ever.

As seen in the Next Generation 6th Season episode "Second Chances" where the U.S.S. Enterprise returns to the planet Nervala IV to retrieve data left behind by Starfleet researchers when they were forced to evacuate the planet eight years earlier. Riker led the original evacuation while serving as a lieutenant on the U.S.S. Potemkin but when he beams down to the surface he is in for quite a shock when he comes face to face with...himself!. Both claim they are William T. Riker, but while the Enterprise's Riker says he was transported back safely following the evacuation, Lieutenant Riker claims his transport failed and the planet's distortion field left him marooned on the planet. The two Rikers are confimed by Dr Crusher to be identical and so starts an intruiging episode with two identical, but very different - having led two differnet lives for 8 years - Rikers. Lieutenant Riker is still very much in Love with Deanna Troi but when he comes to relaise that the relationship has changed maybe forever he leaves the Enterprise to try and start his life all over again and decides to take his middle name of Thomas to distinguish himself from his transporter double. Tom Riker would later make another appearance on Star Trek in the Deep Space Nine season 3 episode  "Defiant".

Accessories include: Starfleet base, Phaser and Trombone.

All the usual attention to detail by Art Asyum can be found in this range.
